thats a snow shoe..u need it to walk in the snow wen its especially thick..on that day..i actually sank knee deep wen i didnt wear the show..one of the shoe had a problem..so i ended up climbing down mount grouse with only one snoe shoe..
trust me..mountain climbing in snow is no joke.i wonder how ppl climb mount everest..u have to fight the temperature..and getting dehydrated..and its super steep at most parts..and slippery...my toes were numb dat i cudnt even feel pain anymore..we almost gave up..but yazid urged us to continue..and we did! only 3 of us climb the mountain..bazilah couldnt stand the cold..im proud of myself tho! :)
